《我的城》是一部记录城市凡人生活碎片,镜头下充满“凡人语录”的系列纪录片,也是中国少有的现实题材城市纪录片。首批拍摄了五座城市:北京、上海、成都、深圳和银川,描绘的是城市人特殊的“乡土情”。本片那些被纪录者,无论是北京篇里爱骑自行车的小伙,还是上海篇里卖啤酒的阿姨,或是成都篇里“二次元”装扮的小姐妹,或是深圳篇里大芬村(城中村)里的小画师,或是银川篇里卖羊杂的小老板,他们都是城市社会里人微言轻的小角色,所以他们脑海里没有城市定位、没有品牌宣传,有的只有活生生的现实:怎么活出自己的个性,活出味道来。一些生活碎片、闲谈碎语、生活片断,不经意间构成了城市的性格和精神、流露出对城市的理解与质疑。抗战时期一群混吃混喝的穷弟兄们,因为老三父亲意外被抓。混日子的“好时光”一去不复返了。之后偶然的一次计划抓到了日军的一名军官在各种搞笑奇葩之后,又恰巧遇到了一群前来扫荡的日本兵。几位兄弟用让观众无法想象的方法,不仅干掉了鬼子们。而且成功的混进了城里。但令人悲剧的是老三的父亲被杀,之后几位兄弟决定、、、Bile USA was awarded several awards by J.D.
